This assignment took a while. I decided to redo my pictures because I wasn't happy with the first batch. I found that I liked when the pictures were slightly darker for the black pictures and slightly brighter for the white pictures than what my camera thought was right.
Here's one that my camera thought was perfect exposure without any edits:
